There is a small Hungarian town called Szendro between the northern mountains, where dozens of gypsy families live way below the average way of living. Heating with wood, or having a permanent electricity in their household is a crucial need. However this photo series doesn't want to concentrate to their misery, but focus to the happy, playful moments with tiny successes in their daily basis. Visiting them time by time the outsider can realize that as long as you don't talk about the poverty with the local people, they are still having so much fun with each other among their own traditions and culture - even if they've many pain and tragedy back to their family stories though. This project wants to point out how people can leave their tragedy and sad fate behind, and to keep a certain positivity that can help them to forget to stay on the edge of precipice.
