Hungarian celebrity and pharmacist called Gyorgy Godeny is the most popular protester in Hungary against the existence of Covid-19. He and his fans, followers are against all the pandemic-related restrictions that the Hungarian government ordered all over the country since Spring 2020, and they are protesting also against mask-wearing. According to them mask is rather an unhealthy protection against Covid-19 than a safe solution, and using that simply takes their human rights and freedom away.
Despite the ban of any public protests due to a curfew under the pandemic, Mr. Godeny and his followers have arranged 3 different unpermitted demonstrations on the streets of Budapest between January and March 2021 with approximately 500 people together against the pandemic restrictions and their financial, human loss. The police units have banned their demonstrations every time usually in 2 hours and arrested dozens of protestors.
